  This is an incredible, albeit expensive market. I would not recommend it for your day to day shopping, but for your specialty or ad hoc needs, it is fantastic. I am a big cheese guy and they have fantastic wine and cheese as well as great prepared foods. As I said, the prepared foods are pricey, but worth it every once in a while. Their chicken cutlets are fantastic, and that is coming from a NJ Italian transplant!!

  Might be time to get some fresh employees in the deli department. While one or two of them are outstanding there are a few who have seen better days. They are old and bitter, slow to help especially at the end of the night, dragging their feet, intentionally taking longer to do a simple task hoping you'll give up and leave. I don't know if this is a union job or what but come on...why the attitude, be happy you have a job and stop crapping all over the customer.
  Just tonight I encountered one of these unpleasant women. After watching this woman take her sweet ass, long time, then giving the guy before me grief then wasting more time before attending to my very simple order ( all the while I'm waiting for confirmation of a furniture delivery which of course comes at the exact moment that she's FINALLY ready to help me.) She's see me answer my phone and starts with a barrage of hello, hello, what can I get you. I finally yelled at her to HOLD ON!! There was no one else waiting and I handled the call quickly. I felt bad for yelling but I had just watched her deliberately wasting my time and figured I would take the call since she was in NO hurry to help me. Anyways, I told her my order, some sliced meat, no big deal. I went to pick up a few things and came back and was waiting waiting waiting, I assumed she was still slicing but apparently she been done for quite some time and my order was at the opposite end of the counter behind the scale where it could not be seen...so 15 minutes after I placed my order, I'm standing out front where I placed the order, she's seen me standing there for quite some time but says nothing until another employee asks if I've been helped and I tell her, "I think she's slicing meat for me but it's been a while" then it's "oh! It's right over here darling" ...how would I possibly know that?? I'm still considering a complaint with the manager but get this....JUST a few days earlier it was me defending one of the deli workers from a customer complaining about her...now I'm wondering if this is just an ongoing problem in that area.
  I worked in customer service for years, I get it...we all have bad days but please leave the bad, lazy attitude at the door because I for one don't need that when I'm picking up lunch meat for my very sick dog, so I can hide her meds in it...really, don't need that kind BS aggravation at the grocery store, ever!

  A bit pricey but this smaller market has a nice selection of quality items. The wine selection was good though the craft beer selection was a bit small.
